I been craving for this kind of bread. We call it "Pan De Coco" in the Philippines. In english, sweeten bread in coconut caramel. I know that alot of you do not like coconut. My husband is an example. But if you grow-up in a tropical country like I do, then I'm sure you are a big fan of coconut! I decided to make some last night for I was really craving for it. Nope, I am not pregnant just missing the old days.. lol! Back in my high school years, I always want this kind of bread for afternoon snack. Anyway, this is perfect with coffee in the morning. Made 2 dozens because I want to give some to my friends.

Can you see the coconut caramel filling inside? Yummo! Hubby did eat some of this, but take off the coconut filling. He like the bread itself. Which was fine for me, LOL! Good morning everyone! Hope you are having a great friday morning. As for me, it's a beautiful morning! My boys woke up very early this morning than they usually do (around 7:30). They woke me up, telling me they are getting hungry.. lol! Got no choice but to get up, although I was still feeling sleepy. They sound soo sweet asking if I could make them some breakfast with the word "pleaseeee".. hehe! Fix them some breakfast and now, they are happy eating breakfast while watching disney channel at the same time. Load some laundry and will do some cleaning later on. My first niece!
... was born on Jan. 24th, 2010! I am a proud auntie to a healthy baby girl. They named her Samantha Nicole, which is by the way, my favorite baby girl name. They asked for baby girl name and that's what I give them.. haha! Sorry can't share any photo this time. I was able to see her through web cam last week! She look so adorable! Love those chubby cheeks of her. It reminds me of my two darling sons. My parents are very happy and proud to finally have a granddaughter in the family. After 3 grandsons, a granddaughter is finally here! Now, I got plenty of reasons to visit Philippines once again. I miss my family so much and I cannot wait to meet the new additions to my family! It hurts to be thousand of miles away from your loved ones.... sigh! But I am hoping to be able to visit soon before my eldest son starts school. Crossing fingers!

I am a proud MOM of my toddlers!
My toddlers has been sleeping on their own bedroom for a month now. I had this anxiety separation on the first couple of nights, because I'm used with them sleeping on my side for four years. And I mean about, eversince my eldest child was born which was Sept. 2005. At first, I was very excited that finally they will sleep on their own room.
I wasn't able to sleep good that couple of nights, because I felt weird, stranged, nervous, you name it. I get-up every couple of minutes and take a peek on their bedroom, making sure they were okey. I know it sounds funny, specially their bedroom is just next to mine. But gosh, that first couple of nights wasn't easy for me to be honest. Will you call it anxiety separation? Because for me, that what it feels like. Anyway, I am okey now and getting used with it (I guess). It's just that, I did not expect to experienced such anxiety just because my kids will finally sleep on their own bedroom.
Are you a mom who experienced the same thing as me? Please let me know! Geeze, I can't imagine myself once they've grown-up and be able to live on their own. I am not so looking forward into that! But I do feel proud that they finally learn how to be independents without mommy sleeping by their side at night... it's a big relief on my side at the same time.. sigh! It sure is not easy to be a Mom.

I love my Tignanello!
I never expected anything from my dh last christmas, because we got my car on month of October. Anyway, I was very surprised and thankful to him for giving me this gorgeous Tignanello French Tote! Too much things to do, too little time!
Hello! What's up guys? Hope, good! Brrr.. it's icy cold today. I am suppose to do grocery shopping today, but I can't deal with this cold weather. So I decided to do chores that should be done tomorrow, in exchange of doing grocery.. sigh! I dunno if I could finish all of this house chores, my boys seems not cooperating with me. Anyways, there are indeed too many things to do but I don't have enough time. Here I am, taking a break. Eating some oatmeal while blogging at the same time.. LOL! Laundry is starting, done with vacuum and dusting, next is organizing the other room that looks like a storage because of sooo many toys. Hopefully, I could able to do all of that today. My kids love the UP movie very much! I personally like this movie too. The story is very cute and I cannot blame my kids from watching it all the time. You know how toddlers are! Anyway, I was laughing so hard when I first saw Brandon wearing a fake eyeglasses. He look so adorable, but remind me of a genius, nerd looking boy. His daddy told him he looks like Harry Potter. He then replied, "I am not Harry Potter, I am just pretending like the grandpa in my UP movie".. haha! Thought that was funny of him to imitate. Very cute, though! I attemp to take picture of him, but he hide everytime he see me holding my camera. He was shy, LOL! Anyway, we can't wait for Toy Story 3 soon. We are going to watch it on theater! My boys love Toy Story and I am sure they'll behave while we watch the movie. Can't wait for summer!

Such a beautiful day today! The weather is cool and Mr. Sun is up! Thinking of bringing my kids to the playground and let them play while the weather is okey. We had 5 inches of snow last week. This week, snow finally melt and rain has been pouring. Guess, this is better than snow. The weather said we are going to have snowy days once again. Eli turns TWO!
Eli's birthday cake!
YUM!My youngest son Eli turned TWO years old yesterday (Jan.18th). We had his little birthday party held last saturday the 16th. He had a colorful Barney cake since he adore Barney alot. The party was a success! I invited few people and I am glad they made it. Thank you guys!

I cooked some food(s). For me, it wasn't that much but some people said it's too much. Anyway, it's mostly filipino dish since most of my visitors are filipino. Lots of locals like filipino food(s)! Especially, the pancit and lumpia. I cooked chicken empanada, sweet style spaghetti, pineapple chicken, paksiw, siomai, pancit, embutido and buttered shrimp tempura. The desserts weren't in this picture. My visitors enjoyed the food which I was happy about. Especially, their local husbands.. LOL!

He is turning 2!
My oh my! My baby is no more a baby. Eli is turning 2 years old this monday (Jan.18th). I have a little birthday party for him this saturday. I am hoping everyone can make it! Snow Angels
My boys had blast last week! Snow started falling on the ground, giving us about 4 inches already in less than 2 hrs. So I hurriedly wrapped them with their winter outfits and let them play the snow. Here's my two silly boys laying on the snow trying to make snow angels! It was Brandon who lay down first and Eli just imitate his big brother. I found them sooo cute laying on the snow.. LOL! The icy cold weather did not bother them at all. Their cheeks was apple red so I have to let them stop for a while and warm them up. At first, they don't want to. No surprise for me! Kids are like that, all the time. But I finally convinced them to get back inside the house, so they can have hot coco. HAHA! My silly little boys... I love them both!

I had enough snow!
Gosh, there are still plenty of snow outside. Our weather last week was horrible. Leaving us pile and pile of snow. The road look so dirty after snowing for 5 days straight. I had enough of this snow! It is so cold.. huhu. I can't wait for warm weather once again. This cold weather makes me feel lazy and just want to stay home all day. My boys been asking if I could take them to the mall's playground. But I don't feel like dragging them in this cold and icy weather!

Huh... woke this morning with headache and muscle pain. I been sneezing like crazy since yesterday afternoon, until this dawn. I took some pain reliever to help me with my headache. Geeze, feels like hang-over. But it actually jus started with the smoke. I went to my friend's house yesterday to feast. She was frying and the smoke was all over the house. It sure got me! Winter Wonderland
I went to bed late last night, and I can see the snow storm on my window. I know it will be so pretty in the morning but at the same time, not good. A year to remember...
Gosh, 3 more days to go and 2010 will be here! Have a prosperous new year to all of us! Our christmas celebration went great. Kids got the presents that they wanted and everybody seems happy. I got some presents too, that I never expected. Anyways, year 2009 will be special for me. This year, I accomplished lots of good things for myself. I had my citizenship done this year. I had my new car and I passed my driver's license exam. I am soooo happy! This are the important things that I wanted to achieved this year and I did it! I don't know what 2010 awaits for me. White Christmas
It's been snowing in our area for days now. I got a feeling we will going to have a white christmas! Which would be nice! The forecast said we will going to have few inches of snow. No hot water!
Arrggh! I am so pissed right now. There is no hot water once again. I was about to give my boys a bath and to my surprise, there is no hot water! It's been 3 days in a row now that the hot water tank went off. We have to lit and pilot it every couple of hours. The lit just won't stay! I called the apartment maintenance already and hopefully, they'll do something about this as soon as possible. It started freaking out last september. By october, they finally did something but it did not last that long. This is getting on my nerve. We need hot water in this cold weather! They need to do something about this, because this is no fun anymore. They definitely need to replace the whole tank and not just some parts, because I know that this tank is already 10 years old. I feel so sorry for my hubby who keep waking up in the middle of the night, just to make sure there's hot water for shower early in the morning. Sigh! Anyway, I better go and check if there is hot water already. It's been like 30 minutes ago since I last lit it again. Sooo frustrating!

But I can't make Eli (my youngest) to smile. I am pretty happy with the result. Not too bad! They are growing everyday. Brandon act like he is all grown-up. He thinks he knows everything already.. haha! He is only 4 years old but he talk like 10 years old. Anyway, won't be long and my youngest will turn 2 years old. How fast! Finally, our new mattress arrived. I am loving it! We got king size this time. We will be moving our queen size bed to the boys bedroom. It's time for them to start sleeping on their own! It's snowing!
It was so cold last night that I got the feeling that I will woke up with snow on the ground. I was right, the ground were filled with some snow this morning. Snow flakes keep falling on the ground and the gust of wind is blowing, yikes! It's horrible out there. My son were so excited after he saw the snow outside and would love to go out but I told him NO. It's so cold outside that he might get sick. Told him to wait until the ground is fully covered with snow... but we will see! This is our first snow of the year.
