Sending package!
I plan to send big box of package going to the Philippines before this year end. Unfortunately, I cannot find any carrier offices that will take my package to the Philippines aside from U.S Postal office. I prefer the one that they called "Balikbayan Boxes" to take my package to my province. I tried calling several carrier services that take packages to the philippines and they told me the same thing, they do not have any branches here in Ohio. I cannot believe it! Now, the only way to send my huge box is by using Postal Service. I don't really mind using U.S Postal service for I really like the postal service here in the states. My problem is when my package gonna be at the Philippines post office. It is very sad to say, but it took forever before my family can get it.
Plus, once they receive my package I can already imagine how ruined the box will look like. For short, I do not trust them! Don't get me wrong, I will never say anything bad about them if I haven't experienced anything bad. I remember hubby send me package in the Philippines and it took forever before they send me notice that I have a package waiting to be pick-up. It was supposed to be for christmas day and I receive it almost february already. It is very sad to say, but it is true! That's why I want a private carrier service to handle my box. I hope I can find one because I definitely need to send all of this stuffs before christmas. It's getting crowded on my storage, I need to send all of those as soon as possible. Does anyone know any balikbayan services in Ohio? Please let me know!

is there a filipino store near your place? they usually are agents for the so-called balikbayan boxes..u might want to try that option because like u i am not very fond with the philippine post office..i always go to the nearest pinoy store here and they are agents for starkargo..we just sent one a few months ago too..good luck
